The Prince Regent street is next to the Briennerstraße, the Ludwig Maximilian street and the street one of the four major urban boulevards of Munich. The Prince Regent Street is protected as a historical monument ensemble.

The Prince Regent Street is located in east-west direction and is divided into three parts: It starts at the Prinz-Carl-Palais, the interface between the Hofgarten and Englischer Garten; The first part extends over the Luitpold Bridge to Peace Angel on the eastern banks of the Isar, which she drives around in a right and left arch; the second part of the Angel of Peace / Europe Square to the Prince Regent Square, the third begins at the Prince Regent Square, crossing the middle ring (Richard-Strauss-Straße) and empties into the Vogelweideplatz, from which the Töginger Street / A94 begins.
